Lucknow 12th, October: A free health camp was conducted by Radius Joint Surgery Hospital here on Saturday. It was a very thoughtful way to celebrate world arthritis day. The event was organized primarily for preventing and raising awareness of widespread diseases and healthcare topics by education, empowerment and health promotion on every possible level. In this program, Free OPD service provided, information related to improving the quality of life and making life easier and happier was given by Radius Hospital’s orthopedic surgeon Dr. Sanjay Srivastava.
Dr. Sanjai Kumar Srivastava Orthopaedic surgeon & consultant at Radius hospital said, “Arthritis is a debilitating disease that impacts nearly every family in India. In India today over 180 million people are suffering from Arthritis.“ One in four peoples lives with doctor-diagnosed arthritis. This campaign was basically for people who are suffering from health disease an opportunity to live better, be mobile and live life to the fullest, we need to raise awareness on it. Avoid stress, don’t smoke and alcohol, Being physically active is good for general health.”
“Our country made rapid advancements in healthcare. patients who underwent multiple bypass surgeries are living happily and hence what is important is early detection and right medical intervention,” he added.
