FICCI handed over five thousand face masks and food packets for corona warriors to the Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow
India’s prestigious industry chamber handed over 5,000 face masks and an equal number of packets of Crax Namkeen for Corona Warriors to Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow, Mr. Ranjan Kumar. This was the second program organized by FICCI in its series of social campaigns for Corona Warriors under CSR-Corporate Social Responsibility. Earlier, FICCI had presented 9000 PPE kits to Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh to be distributed among Corona Warriors in hospitals. FICCI organized a similar event in Kanpur city, also, where face masks and food packets were distributed through Neelima Katiyar, Minister of State for Higher Education.
CEO of DFM Foods, Mr. Lagan Shastri said, “During this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, it is our responsibility to help the needy through various social assistance initiatives. This initiative has come with the intention of providing packaged snack foods through the association of FICCI-DFM Foods, especially in the Containment Zones, where small and marginal segments are facing the hardship of basic amenities.”
All the packets were handed over to the officers of the administration in the presence of Divisional Commissioner Mr. Ranjan Kumar at his office in Lucknow today. The event was organized in association with the member company, DFM Food. FICCI’s Amit Gupta, Manish Khemka, Divjot Singh, and DFM Food’s representative Siddharth Chauhan and Sanjeev Srivastava, and other officials of the divisional office were present at the event.
