Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) annual general meeting held in Lucknow. On this occasion, all guests were welcomed and introduced by Mr. Qasim Ali, Secretary CREDAI (U.P.). In this AGM Mr. S.K. Garg, Chairman, CREDAI (U.P.), Mr. Sanjay Seth Executive Chairman, Mr. Shobhit Mohan Das, President, Mr. Ramandeep Singh, President Elect., Mr. Naveen Goel, Treasurer, Mr. Shobhik Goyyal, Vice President, Mr. Shashank Gupta Joint Secretary, Mr. Sudhanshu Vadera, Additional Director and other officials of CREDAI (U.P.) were present. Mr. Shobhit Mohan das greeted Chairman of UP-RERA Mr. Rajeev Kumar.
Chairman of UP-RERA Mr. Rajeev Kumar said that “we appreciate the skill development program being run by CREDAI across the country. Meeting and interacting with fellow developers of it is a great opportunity. A strategy should be made that if any of our fellow colleagues are in a moment of difficulty, then can we create such a mechanism so that his business can grow further. And in many cases, our experience is that about 25% of the projects are such that they are running at a rapid pace. There are 50% of those who have a deficiency muscle, who need to push a little bit so that they will start to finish easily, 25% of the projects are due to various reasons, diversions also includes those projects are no longer the limit of viability.
If we make a consensus among ourselves that we will complete these projects in the timebound limit, then a positive environment will be created by this. There is an issue of trust between the builder and the Buyer for this, RERA is to reduce the trust deficit between the two.” He also thanked CREDAI for its distinctive contributions to various social functions.
On this occasion, CREDAI (U.P.) introduced four new city chapters, and general discussion on current state of market and other important issues including government, RERA courts & RERA rules in respective areas, grievance redressed forum/on-Line complaints portals, launch of new city chapters, publish quarterly “e-news” letter of CREDAI (U.P.), are few of the important points on the agenda.
Mitsubishi elevator India Pvt. Ltd. also gave introduction and presentation. Mr. Qasim Ali, Secretary CREDAI (U.P.) said, “CREDAI has been actively trying to fine solution methods to improve the current scenario of the industry with both angles builder and consumer. So in this context CREDAI decide to conduct Annual General Meeting to bring together all the developers of UP and also involve new city chapters with CREDAI to strengthen the organization. Over the past few years’ real estate industry has undergone a lot of transformation and now the industry is looking to a new era and CREDAI wants to be a front runner in this new industrial change that is taking place.”
