Apollomedics launches Apollo Recover Clinic

  • Apollo Recover Clinic aims at providing health assessment to patients recovering from COVID-19
  • Protect Covid 19 Survivors from air pollution too as this disease has a very negative effect on the lungs

Apollomedics Super-specialty Hospital has launched a service for patients who have recovered from COVID under the name Apollo Recover Clinic.

Managing Director and CEO of Apollomedics Super Specialty Hospitals, Dr. Mayank Somani said that “Apollo Recover Clinic aims to care and treat patients who have been suffering COVID-19 and have successfully recovered.  Studies have shown that patients do not fully recover from a lung infection after recovering from COVID. It may also have an impact on the recurrence of complications such as Breathlessness, Chronic Fatigue, Reduced Appetite, Pains & Aches & most importantly Anxiety & Depression. Therefore, it becomes necessary to make people aware of such a situation & help them overcome any such shortcomings later in life.

In order to cater to the same concern, we are going to start Apollo Recover Clinic. With the state of art infrastructure along with a dedicated Panel of Super Specialist Doctors & Specialised Screening Packages, we aim at providing complete health assessment of patients who have won the battle against COVID in order to ascertain that the patient will not have any other health complications in the future. This concept will require effective and efficient follow-up by hospitals for patients discharged from our COVID unit and will generate awareness for the common in the region and periphery.”

Dr. Somani requested all, saying, “Everyone needs to protect Covid 19 Survivors from air pollution too as this disease has a very negative effect on the lungs. So this year let’s celebrate Deepawali or Christmas with no crackers in order to avoid air pollution and help them.”
